The Centre for Emergency Medical Science (CEMS) will offer an MSc Emergency Medical Science (Advanced Paramedic) commencing Sept 2012. Candidates will complete a minor thesis by primary research in a relevant area of pre-hospital emergency care and will acquire a further 30 ECTS credits.

Access to this module is limited to those holding the Grad Dip EMS or HDip EMS. Candidates will complete a primary research project in a subject area related to the practice of pre-hospital emergency care. A research proposal must be submitted and approved before acceptance to the module. External and internal assessors will report on the completed dissertation.
