Our large faculty of investigators pursue a wide range of research questions encompassing:

• In silico bioinformatics and computational biology
• In vitro and in vivo molecular medicine interrogations of fundamental disease processes
• Clinical and translational research evaluating current and putative intervention strategies

as they seek to:

• Understand the aetiology and pathogenesis of disease
• Differentiate large patient cohort groups into individual clusters with common disease sub-types or stages of illness progression
• Evaluate current or emerging therapeutic and diagnostic strategies
