The UCD History and Health Transition Year Competition will be launched on Thursday 19th October 2017 at UCD O'Reilly Hall. Owing to large demand, registration for this event is now closed. However you don't have to attend the launch day to take part in the competition.
UCD Medicine is co-hosting the European General Practice Research Network meeting in conjunction with the ICGP from the 19-21 Oct 17 at Croke Park Conference Centre. Keynote will be given by Professor Amanda Howe WONCA Work President. The EGPRN promotes research excellent and supports researchers in general practice/family medicine.

The ICGP in conjunction with UCD Academic General Practice host a European General Practice Research Network event from the 19th-22nd October 2017 at the Croke Park Conference Centre, Dublin. Entitled 'Mental Health in Primary Care' the conference will focus on increasing Public and Patient involvement in health research. The conference will be opened by Minister Helen McEntee, the Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People. The UCD School of Medicine is hosting the Association of University Departments of General Practice in Ireland (AUDGPI) Annual ‘Academic Primary Care Career Development Study Day’ from Thursday 30th November to Friday 1st December 2017. The event, which is of interest for clinicians and non-clinicians working in or interested in becoming involved with primary care academia.
The RAMI Intern Study Day will be held on Sat 27 Jan 2018. Abstracts are invited from interns across all Intern Training Networks. The presentations will consist of both oral and poster presentations with an award of the RAMI Bronze Medal. Further details to follow.
