The UCD Centre in Translational Oncology host another 'Patient Voice in Cancer Research' event to coincide with the formal launch of the academic centre on 21st and 22nd Sept 2018 at various locations around the UCD health & science precincts.
UCD Cancer Researchers are pleased to host another 'Patient Voice in Cancer Research' event on Fri 21 Sept 18 from 10am to 12pm at the UCD Conway Institute. The event is designed for anybody with an interest in cancer research - patients, survivors, carers and families and will feature a tour of our Cancer Research Laboratories and an opportunity to hear from our teams of scientists about the work they are doing.

This is an opportunity to explore all facets of translational oncology being undertaken in UCD, its affiliated hospitals and collaborative institutes from clinical, academic, educational and patient perspectives. Dr Dom Colbert launches two books of his memoirs on Wed 10 Oct 18 at 5pm in the RCSI. This collection of memoirs offers ‘quite extraordinary insights into life, death, disease and humanity’ gleaned from his many years of medical practice in war-torn and disease-ravaged Africa and beyond.
