Clinical audit is internationally renowned as a key quality indicator in clinical governance and risk management. Engagement of healthcare professionals in this concept is crucial to ensuring a high quality, safe service is promoted. Clinical audit and risk management is becoming increasingly important in radiology departments today, with requirements being laid down by a number of national and international agencies.
This study day, hosted by UCD School of Medicine and Medical Science is targeted towards managers, radiographers, radiologists, nurses, students of medicine, diagnostic imaging and nursing and healthcare professionals interested in the area of clinical audit and risk.
The programme brings together experts in the field from across Ireland and the UK. The format is designed to update and inform participants with regard to the latest developments and best practice in this important area.
