Lecture : Genetics of Parkinson’s Disease
Dr Owen Ross, Associate Professor of Neuroscience at the Mayo Clinic will present a lecture entitled 'Genetics of Parkinson’s Disease' on Thursday, 12 December 2013 at 13:00hrs in the Catherine McAuley Education Centre Lecture Theatre at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. Refreshments available from 12:45pm. All Staff welcome.
Dr Owen Ross is a world-reknowned human geneticist based who has contributed greatly to the genetics of neurodegenerative disease and in particular Parkinson's Disease. The presentation will not only address the current understanding of the disease genetics but also how to use new technologies to study genetics more broadly in medicine.
