Psychosis & Borderline Personality Disorders, Diagnostic Dilemma, Treatment and Transitioning Day
Prof. Fiona McNicholas and clinicians from Lucena, SJOG, and UCD are organising a Psychosis & Borderline Personality Disorders, Diagnostic Dilemma, Treatment and Transitioning Day on Friday 22nd May 2015 starting from 9am – 5.00pm, in Lucena Clinic, 59 Orwell Road, Rathgar, Dublin 6W, ( as part of the dissemination of the ITRACK HRB study and also the EU funded MILESTONE study).
This meeting will review clinical presentation that occur frequently in later adolescents and young adulthood, consider the issues for clinicians and services along with the personal experiences of transitioning from one service to another. The diagnostic and clinical challenges of working with early onset psychosis, and borderline PD will be reviewed by leading clinicians in this area. The event will cover child and adult Mental Health Services along with presenting data on services from UK and Ireland.

Dr Cathy Winsper, Warwick Medical School - Shared responsibility between CAMHS and AMHS, borderline personality disorders, how to recognize and treat.
Prof Fiona McNicholas - Transition between CAMHS and AMHS in Ireland
Dr Kevin Madigan - Psychosis and cannabis use.
Dr Lesley O’ Hara, UCD - ED in teenagers and their experiences of treatment.
