Functional Genomic Approaches to Cancer Drug Target Discovery
Dr Chris Kemp (Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre) will present a research seminar entitled 'Functional Genomic Approaches to Cancer Drug Target Discovery' at 1pm on Friday 20th November 2015 in the UCD Conway Lecture Theatre, UCD Conway Institute as part of the System Biology Ireland Personalised Medicine seminar series.
Dr. Kemp is an internationally acknowledged cancer research leader who has pioneered functional genomics approaches that will fully exploit the potential of genome research for applications in the area of personalised medicine. His goal is to integrate recent technological advances in high throughput screening, large scale cancer genomic data, state of the art preclinical models and clinical oncology to develop a program in translational cancer genomics.
