Social Media and the Challenge of Digital Mentorship

We would like to invite students and staff to a presentation on ‘Social Media and the Challenge of Digital Mentorship’ by Dr Joel Topf, a clinical nephrologist from Detroit, Michigan.  This talk takes place on Thursday 11th February 2016 at 1pm in Lecture Theatre, C006 and will address the role of social media in medical education.

Better known as @kidney_boy, Dr Topf is a leading and enthusiastic early adopter of social media technology that has found himself the SoMe face of nephrology through his @NephJC twitter journal club.  Joel is in Dublin to present at the DotMed, creative medical conference.
