Welcome to UCD Mentoring

The purpose of Mentoring is to support professional development. Each Mentee will enter a mentoring relationship with different goals and the role of the mentor is to support that individual in progressing those goals.

Mentoring is confidential and entirely voluntary and is a partnership built upon trust and mutual respect. It is seperate from but complementary to the Performance for Growth (P4G) process.

As well as the information contained on this website, briefing sessions will be made available for both Mentors and Mentees on a needs basis.  We hope that you will find mentoring a useful additional support and we welcome your feedback at any stage on how to improve the process.
