Welcome
Dear Participant,
Welcome to the Q-PorkChains Annual Meeting in Dublin (7-9th December 2010).
I am looking forward to meeting you at University College Dublin. This will be an important meeting as with approximately one year of the project to run, I hope we will have good discussions as to how to optimise the outputs and impact of Q-PorkChains in the final stage of the project. If you have any queries relating to the meeting or suggestions for additional information you need concerning the project, please email me (f.butler@ucd.ie) or my colleague Grainne Redmond (grainne.redmond@ucd.ie). Please check this website regularly for updates to agenda etc.
Weather Alert
Dublin, together with most of Northern Europe has experienced significant snow fall in the last week. The forecast is for a slow thaw over the period of the meeting, however conditions underfoot particularly on footpaths are expected to be wet and slippy as snow melts. Please come prepared for the cold weather and bring good foot wear for the likely conditions underfoot. For weather updates consult www.met.ie . For Dublin airport updates consult www.dublinairport.com
See you in Dublin
