The 9th International Conference on In Vivo Methods: Monitoring Molecules in Neuroscience was held from the
16th - 20th June 2001 on Belfield Campus, University College Dublin (UCD), Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. The
meeting was hosted by the Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research.
This conference brought together researchers from the basic and clinical neurosciences
and will focused on the latest
advances and reviewed established methods and techniques in monitoring molecules in neuroscience. The decision to
merge the North American and European meetings will make this meeting of major interest to basic and clinical research
scientists in the International Neuroscience Community.
The quest of honour at this meeting was Professor Arvid Carlsson, (Sweden) Nobel Prize Winner, Physiology and Medicine, 2000.
