Arrival and information

Aer Lingus will be the main carrier for this meeting. The main (Belfield) campus of University College Dublin (UCD) is located three miles south of Dublin city centre on the Stillorgan Road. From the airport, six miles north of the centre, you can take the official airlink bus (747 or 748) or the aircoach which takes thirty minutes to reach the city centre, the central bus station, or take a slower city bus (41 or 41c), which will bring you to Abbey Street lower. The twenty minute ride by taxi will cost £12 - £15. If you arrive by boat, you'll come in at either Dun Laoighaire(for Stena Line Services), six miles out, from where the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport) train will whisk you into town in about twenty minutes, or at the closer Dublin Port(Irish Ferries), served by bus 53. The 3, 10 and 11 bus routes all go directly to UCD and depart from O'Connell St.

Dublin's main tourist office is in a converted church on Suffolk St, off Dame St. and provides general tourist information.
Local Ireland, goireland, Timeout Guides
All provide good information for visiters to Dublin and Ireland.
The event guide
is good for current listings and is published fortnightly free.
