BMGT30480 BCIT Year Abroad Remediation

Academic Year 2023/2024

This module aims to develop the business, language (for students on modern language pathways), and cultural understanding capabilities of BComm International students who have experienced a year abroad at a partner university. This module allows students to remediate a credit shortfall from their academic year abroad.

Assessment is by means of an individual research project and there is no final exam. This module will be delivered using an enquiry based learning approach. Students will be required to complete an enquiry-based learning project on a business topic (with a language component for students on the modern language pathways).

The project topic will be agreed by the student and module co-ordinator to address the students' specific Learning Outcomes gap. The student will be required to submit a written report and make an oral presentation on the project.
