Through participation in this module students should be able :
To develop effective presentation skills to a variety of audiences
To develop peer review skills and self monitoring skills
To co-ordinate and demonstrate effective planning of outreach activities
To demonstrate knowledge and critique of the principles of communication and outreach in relation to their own practice and subject area
To critically evaluate their own communication and outreach approaches and their impact on the audience in question
To take responsibility for evaluating their own performance based on feedback from a variety of sources (peer, school students, teachers) and demonstrate willingness to change in light of this feedback
To demonstrate an awareness of UCD, College and School policies and procedures that impact on their roles as an ambassador and discuss their implications for your practice
