COMP41520 Tools & Security for Cloud Computing

This module expands on the core security concepts from part 1 and expands into areas of cloud computing and infrastructure security.

The course will cover information infrastructure security, data security and storage, Identity and Access Management, Privacy, audit and compliance and how they relate to the cloud. The course will also focus on security management in the cloud, security as a cloud service and cloud service providers.

Any student taking this module must have their own laptop. Also, the default grading scheme for the School of Computer Science applies to this module. This is documented at the following URL: http://www.cs.ucd.ie/Grading/
