This module will incorporate a series of student-driven seminars on topics related to data science. The goal will be to explore the context and impact of data science in the real-world, through a presentation and discussion of relevant papers / articles. Students will prepare group presentations. Classes will consist of presentations on the chosen topic and a discussion. About 6 topics will be discussed in a 12-week seminar series and students will submit essays on a subset of the topics discussed.. Furthermore, an exam covering all topics will be completed. Students will be assessed based on their participation in the presentation and discussions, their CA work and their exam.
