CRWT40180 Writing Project

Academic Year 2023/2024

This module is the culmination of the MA in Creative Writing. Responsible for a third of your marks, it is an opportunity for you to develop an existing idea at greater length while working on a one to one basis with a member of the teaching team who is an expert in the genre of your choice. The project will be approximately 15000 words in length or the equivalent in poetry and will consist of creative work and a critical commentary.

How will my Feedback be Delivered?

Regular meetings with supervisor to assess development of work in progress, discuss changes and strategies to improve and enhance work; student will receive notes and suggestions. Post-assessment, three examiner's reports are presented; corrected manuscript is available for inspection.
