CRWT40230 Sound & Visual Poetry II

Academic Year 2021/2022

This is an exploratory seminar and workshop in Sound and Visual Poetry. It encapsulates universal
traditions where poetry overspills its boundaries. The focus of the course is composition and
presentation. We will consider innovative contexts for reading, listening and experiencing texts of
poems made by participants and by poets, particularly those associated with Sound and Visual poetry.
Students bring their own expertise and curiosity to the table and engage in framing and extending
traditions, using a range of techniques and technologies.
