● General Ability
● Literacy
● Numeracy
● Behaviour
● Social and Emotional Skills

○ Interpret educational psychological reports to inform individualised planning for students with ASN.
○ Examine the connection between assessment and individualised planning for students with additional support needs.

Indicative Module Content:

The aim of the module is to develop students' skills in the administration and interpretation of assessments and in the formulation and implementation of Student Support Files for pupils with ASN. An overview of assessment administration and interpretation procedures will be provided across a range of assessment domains including general ability, school attainment, adaptive functioning and social, emotional and behavioural functioning. It is hoped that by being more confident in administering and interpreting these tests, teachers will be able to devise more appropriate individualised plans for students in their schools, which has become an essential component for schools implementing TAM.
