Approaches to Teaching and Learning:
The goal of this module is to develop your skills in independent research. Yet, you will do so within a supportive environment. You will have regular meetings (usually 4 or 5) with your supervisor to identify a viable research project and to begin the research process - most importantly finding an accessible primary source base. Further meetings will use drafts of your project as a basis for discussion . You can expect oral and or written feedback on the chapters submitted - but chapters will be read only once by the supervisor.
