At the end of this module students will be able to:
Understand the relevance and influence of human behaviour in the workplace in the context of OSH management;
Explain the differences between individual, group and organisational behaviour and consider these as factors in behaviour based safety workplace practice;
Have an awareness workplace stress and be able to advise on the implementation of workplace policies designed to alleviate workplace stress;
Understand the theories underpinning approaches recommended for workplace communications that can promote a positive OSH workplace culture and climate;
Understand the role dignity and respect plays in the workplace and how they can foster a positive work culture that is inclusive of individual employee wellbeing;
Self reflect on their own learning and development and demonstrate an awareness of the role lifelong learning plays in the OSH professional.
