On completion of this module students will be able to:translate from Spanish into English with greater fluency;produce better writing in both languages; reason out,articulate and reflect on issues in and around translation.
Indicative Module Content:Translation. The Spanish and English languages.Grammatical intricacies.Using translation exercises to boost students' competence in Spanish itself.
Weeks 1-5 = Practice in and assessment of translation skills
Week 6 = Reading Week
Weeks 7-11= Practice in and assessment of translation skills.
