Management

The Scientific Director of the UCD Nanomedicine Centre is Professor Gil Lee.  He is supported by an Executive Committee, as described below.

The Executive Committee of the UCD Nanomedicine Centre consists of 5 Directors who meet monthly with the Administrative team to discuss the Centre’s business and move the Centre forward towards its goals:

• Professor David Brayden, Director of IDDN & School of Vet Sciences, UCD
• Professor David Coker, Director of CASL & School of Physics, UCD
• Professor Gil Lee, Scientific Director of Nanomedicine, Director of Nanoremedies, UCD
• Professor Jez Simpson, School of Biology and Environmental Sciences, UCD
• Dr. Paddy Mallon, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, UCD School of Medicine and Medical Science (SMMS), and Consultant, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital
