Mission Statement
The Mission Statement of the UCD Nanomedicine Centre is to combine the expertise of world-leading researchers in the fields of supramolecular chemistry, nanotechnology, biology and advanced imaging with the aim of developing new diagnostic techniques and drug delivery methods. The Centre's primary goal is to develop and image novel nanomaterials, fluorophores and drug carriers, to characterise their safety and trafficking pathways and ultimately to apply them as nanoscale diagnostic and therapeutic agents.
