Key Research Programmes

The Nanomedicine Centre boasts several large, multi-disciplinary programmes funded by European and Irish sources, including the Programme for Research in Third Level Institutions (PRTLI) funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA), Seventh EU Framework Programme for RTDI (FP7) and several Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) centres. These programmes demonstrate the depth and breadth of expertise at UCD in the nanomedical area. Some programmes of particular interest are:
