Welcome to Dublin City of Science 2012, welcome to UCD
Dublin has been chosen to host Europe’s largest science conference, ESOF 2012 (Euroscience Open Forum), from 11-15 July, 2012.
To celebrate this prestigious, international event, Dublin City of Science 2012, a programme of science-related events and activities, will run throughout the year.
UCD, being a world recognised and Ireland’s largest university, will contribute to this celebration of science, technology, and innovation through a wide range of events taking place on campus and across Dublin that reach out to national and international audiences.
UCD - Dublin City of Science events include: public engagement events, international scientific conferences in a range of different fields, debates, workshops and road shows, scientific meetings, lectures open to and aimed at the public, summer schools, information events, installations, outdoor and online exhibitions and a film festival - UCD Imagine Science Film Festival 2012.

By putting together such a varied and rich programme UCD has something to offer to everyone, from children and communities to expert scientists and leaders in their filed.
