Professor Joe Carthy elected to UCD Governing Authority
Professor Joe Carthy, Principal of UCD College of Science, has been elected to the Governing Authority by members of the professorial academic staff.
Counting of votes in the by-election to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Professor Mary Daly took place on Thursday, 24 May 2012 under the direction of the Returning Officer, Professor Michael Monaghan. The number of votes cast for each candidate was as follows:
