Programme of Bloomsday Centenary Public Lectures
May � August 2004

The Faculty of Arts commemorates the centenary of �Bloomsday� with an impressive programme of lectures by Faculty staff of international renown for their expertise on the works of James Joyce. Joyce graduated from UCD with a BA Degree in 1902. He is pictured below, standing second from left, with the BA Degree class of that year. Professor Patrick Semple, the first Dean of Arts is standing on the extreme right.

The programme of lectures is part of the contribution of the Faculty of Arts to the national ReJoyce commemorations and all lectures are open to the public and are free of charge. The series runs from 26 May to 10 August 2004.

All lectures will take place in the Physics Theatre, Newman House, 85-86 St Stephen�s Green, Dublin 2.
