All 120 models and dancers have successfully auditioned for their place in the Show and a shortlist of six female and six male models has been selected to go forward for the title of Female/Male Model of the Year Award.  The prize will be a modelling contract with Assets and former winners of this title include Rosanna Davidson and Roz Lipsett.

Ten fashion design students from colleges across Ireland are competing for the title of Fashion Designer of the Year. Peter O’Brien will be among the competition judges. The winner will receive a month’s work experience with a leading Irish fashion designer.

Proceeds from the UCD Arts Fashion Show for three years (2007 – 09), will be donated to the Down Syndrome Centre, a registered charity fundraising to build Ireland’s first centre to provide specific medical and developmental services to people with Down syndrome from birth.
