2005 UACES Prize for the Best Book in Contemporary European Studies.

On Tuesday 6th September, 2005, at its 35th annual conference,Lord Kerr of Kinlochard, Hon President of the University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES) presented Dr. Stefan Auer of the UCD School of Politics and International Relations and Dublin European Institute with the 2005 UACES Prize for the Best Book in Contemporary European Studies.
This was awarded to Dr Auer for his book "Liberal Nationalism in Central Europe" (Routledge), which was found to have made the most substantial and original contribution to knowledge in the area of European Studies.
