QS World University Rankings by Subject - UCD the 'most ranked' in Ireland

The QS World University Rankings by Subject place UCD in the top 200 for 30 subjects; making UCD the most ranked of the Irish universities. This year QS expanded the number of subjects to 42 and UCD offers 39 under this categorisation.
UCD has eleven subjects in the top 100 and one in the top 50 (Veterinary Science at 31).
The subject rankings place UCD first in Ireland in 12 subjects:
Veterinary science, archaeology, architecture/built environment, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, agriculture & forestry, earth & marine sciences, mathematics, anthropology, business & management, development studies and statistics & operation research.
UCD subjects ranked in the top 100 in the world are:
Veterinary science, archaeology, english language and literature, history, modern languages, agriculture & forestry, nursing, development studies, law, politics & international studies, social policy and administration.
QS Rankings group institutions into bands of 50, with 774 out of 4,226 universities evaluated ranking within the top 200 for at least one subject.
The rankings includes survey responses from 76,798 academics and 44,426 employers, alongside the analysis of 28.5 million research papers and over 113 million citations sourced from the Scopus/Elsevier bibliometric database.
