Biography:
Maria's doctoral research involves a detailed analysis of Irish women's lived experience of postnatal care. She is currently co-researcher of a study entitled: Women's experiences of restricted visiting in an Irish Maternity Hospital. Maria is a lecture in midwifery, teaching on both the undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programmes. She is highly involved in curriculum development, is a personal tutor to a number of students and is a supervisor of MSc research projects. Other interests include: |
