Biography:
| Rita Collins is a lecturer and course-coordinator of the Education Strand of the MSc and the Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Nurse Education). She has a keen interest in nursing informatics, particularly in the area of documentation and terminologies and languages. |

Teaching Interests
| Teaching activities span the undergraduate and graduate programmesin the areas of nursing informatics and professional documentation. A variety of teaching methods are employed which include formal lectures through to problem based learning (PBL). The inclusion of VLE's such as BalckBoard support teaching and learning. Co-ordinates the registered nurse teacher (RNT) course which is part of the MSc Nursing and the MSc Midwifery and is offered as a Graduate Certificate in both these disciplines. |
