Graduate Foundation Modules
There is now a new and more flexible way of pursuing graduate studies at the UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems. Two modules are common to all of our Taught Graduate Programmes.
One or both of these 15 ECTS core graduate modules may now be taken on a standalone basis and the credits gained will count towards subsequent Graduate Diploma and/or Masters study in the School.
There is one core module per semester, and teaching takes place on Monday afternoons from September to November and from January to April. The modules are Research Methodologies in Semester 1 and Theoretical Bases of Nursing in Semester 2.
Successful completion of these modules exempts you from having to take them as part of future graduate studies in the School. You may opt to take one or other, or both, of these modules, starting in either January 2013 or September 2012 .
Fees will be €1750 per module.
