NovaUCD 2008 CCDP Awards Evening: Guest Entrepreneurial Speaker

Bernie Cullinan will be the entrepreneurial guest speaker at the NovaUCD 2008 CCDP Awards Evening.

Bernie is a creative and energetic leader and has been involved in the software sector for a number of years in both executive and non-executive director roles.

Bernie is currently CEO of Clarigen which provides companies with a dynamic solution for employee transaction management.

Prior to this, Bernie was CEO of SteelTrace, an Irish software tools company which was sold in 2006 for $20 million to American IT services giant Compuware Corporation. Previously Bernie was COO of Performix Technologies which developed software to monitor the performance of employees, mainly in call centres, utilities and financial services companies. Performix was also sold in 2006 for $19 million to Nice Systems, a NASDAQ-quoted Israeli company.

Bernie is also currently a non-executive director of Supplierforce.com which is providing procurement and supplier management solutions.

Bernie is the immediate past Chair of the Irish Software Association which has represented the interests of software and IT services companies in Ireland since 1978 and is the leading voice of software technology and service in Ireland.

In addition, Bernie has had many challenging roles driving business turnaround and then growth within organisations with difficulty meeting their goals and objectives in Ireland, the UK and Australia.

Bernie graduated with a BComm and MBA from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
