NovaUCD 2012 CCDP Workshop Schedule
The next NovaUCD Campus Company Development Programme beginning April 2012 will contain a mix of practical training and consultancy support including 12 half-day workshops, one-to-one advice and consultancy meetings, and a series of networking events. Throughout the programme participants will be assisted in the development of a business plan by the CCDP team.
All workshop sessions will take place in NovaUCD with workshop sessions starting at 9:00 am (breakfast from 8:30 am) and running until 12:30 pm/1:00 pm. The proposed schedule of workshops for the 2012 programme (April to November) is as follows:
Workshop 1 (3 April) - CCDP Introduction, Business Plan Development, Building a Team
Workshop 2 (17 April) - Initial Presentations to Evaluation Panel
Workshop 3 (1 May) - Market Assessment and Marketing
Workshop 4 (15 May) - Technology Validation and Intellectual Property
Workshop 5 (29 May) - Finance and Business Planning
Workshop 6 (12 June) - Funding your Business
Workshop 7 (26 June) - Selling your Product - The Customer Pitch and Marketing Strategy
Workshop 8 (4 September) - Managing your Finances
Workshop 9 (18 September) - Employment Law and Legal Issues
Workshop 10 (2 October) - Marketing Through the Web and PR for Start-Ups
Workshop 11 (16 October) - Valuation of Early-Stage Companies and Raising Investment
Workshop 12 (30 Octobter) - Final Presentations to Evaluation Panel.
