Companies at NovaUCD
Twenty-five exciting new ventures, occupying 35 incubation units, or ~ 80% of the available incubation space are currently located in NovaUCD.
A total of fifteen companies have now graduated from NovaUCD. It is an important element of NovaUCD's strategy to continuously refresh our community of entrepreneurs and to have the capacity at all times to house new companies
Since 1996 University College Dublin, has supported over 200 campus companies through the NovaUCD Campus Company Development Programme and the former Campus Innovation Centre at Roebuck Castle, previously the only incubation space available in UCD prior to the establishment of NovaUCD.
NovaUCD related campus companies have now created well over 1000 high-quality jobs and examples of established UCD spin-out companies includes BiancaMed, Celtic Catalysts, ChangingWorlds, NTERA and WBT Systems. The total investment and realisation in UCD spin-out companies, over the past decade, is now more than $200 million.
