Technology Transfer (Industry)

Long term strategic partnerships are a key requirement for the development of collaborative research and opportunities for licesing and other forms of commercialisation. Bridging the gap between academic research and industry and building national and international relationships with industry and with the knowledge transfer network is an important element of NovaUCD's commercialisation strategy.

NovaUCD is responsible for the commercialisation of intellectual property arising from UCD research programmes and for the development of co-operation with the industry and business community. NovaUCD is the main point of contact for companies seeking information and advice on licensing and other commercial opportunities and partners for collaborative research. UCD also has a growing portfolio of licensing, collaboration and business development opportunities available for exploitation by the industry and business community.
