Supports for Mature Students
Mature students make up the largest component of non-traditional students in UCD. The Access Centre Mature Student Adviser provides a range of ongoing supports and referrals to assist mature students in both enrolling and succeeding in UCD. Support includes advice on academic, social and personal circumstances and referral to health, financial, childcare and academic resources and assistance.
To ensure that mature students entering UCD feel comfortable with their academic writing skills and with UCD’s student services and campus environment, all entering mature students receive an invitation to attend a pre-enrolment Critical Writing Academy and the Access Centre Orientation Day for Mature Students
