Provision of medical services to be kept on the agenda for further discussions to happen at a later date.

3          Draft Final Progress Report

MF acknowledge feedback from IFUT

MF has written to SIPTU relating to performance management and awaiting a response.

MF If a progress report is unable to be agreed, it will not be sent to the PVG.  Performance Management needs to be included as to date it has been in all the Reports.

IFUT raised the issue of the imminent Labour Court hearing and other outstanding issues.

Robert French discussed wording of the Report.  MF responded to say that in his opinion, the current wording had better chance of success with the PVG.

PC asked what is the time frame if the report sent to the PVG is rejected and has to be re- submitted.

There are concerns over performance management document. The document is to be brought in line with NUIM and UCC. The union side wanted issues regarding Performance Management to be forwarded to Ms Margaret Ramsey Head of Personnel or Professor Pat Gibbons.

MF stated the importance to have a report, which will be supported by PVG for payment in June. He went to say that If progress report sent in April has real problems, it could delay payment.

MF requested one representative from each group to send further comments on the report to MF

Other issues raised concerned the proposed revision of the Sick Pay Scheme.  RF and MF stated that their unions were not agreeing to the revision.
