1          Minutes of the Last Meeting

The minutes were agreed

2        Matters Arising

Staff Doctor and Health Checks - MF to update the Committee at the next meeting regarding these issues

Crèche  – MF to find out if planning permission has yet been lodged and the location of the new crèche

3            Election of New Chair

            Pauline Corrigan was elected new Chair of the Partnership    
           Committee

4          Income Protection

Margaret Agnew, Pensions Officer, gave a presentation on Income Protection. Margaret Ramsay and Cecily Corrigan (UCD Personnel) were also present for this presentation.

5          AOB

Training – training for new members of the Partnership Committee was suggested. The National Centre for Partnership provides this training. MF to report back at the next meeting

Skillsnet courses – MF to report back regarding Skillsnet courses available

Progress Report – MF stated that the Progress Report for the next phase of the Benchmarking would be an item on the agenda for the next meeting. The Progress Report for all staff is required to be agreed and submitted by 31 March 06. The next phase of the benchmarking is 2% effective 1 June 06.

Traffic Lights – it was reported that the traffic lights at the Quinn Business School remain red for an extra long period of time. It was suggested that flashing amber lights may be a solution.

Zebra Crossing - it was reported that the Zebra Crossing at the Engineering car park is quite dangerous and it is hidden by bushes and is very difficult for drivers to see if there is someone crossing over.
