MA in Contemporary European Philosophy
For students interested in Contemporary European philosophy (also known as "Continental" philosophy), University College Dublin is reckoned to be one of the top ten universities in the English speaking world (see The Philosophical Gourmet report). This programme draws on the expertise of several members of the School in a broad range of philosophical topics.
Programme Structure
The programme may be taken in one year (full-time) or two years (part-time). At the heart of the programme is the requirement to take six modules, at least four of which must be directly concerned with Contemporary European philosophy. The remaining two may be from any offered by the School. See the descriptions of the modules on the right-hand menu.
