Our School

The range of well-established Taught Postgraduate Programmes available in our School provide graduates with a unique opportunity to specialise in a particular area of their field spanning from public health to sport science, rehabilitation, occupational health, and food science (to name a few). These programmes are internationally recognised and in some areas lead to accreditation in that particular discipline. Training opportunities in specialist areas of Healthcare are also available to graduates. 

The School is at the cutting edge of research and research programmes are organised into distinct hubs of activity: Clinical Epidemiology; Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation and Health; Sport and Performance, Food and Health; Geary Institute Programmes; UCD CSTAR; Occupational and Environmental StudiesUCD Centre for Translational Pain ResearchETSEA Study; (opens in a new window)Cystic Fibrosis Registry and Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. You will find that we have an international reputation in these fields of activity, with many national and international partners, including government agencies, statutory and non-statutory organisations and other academic institutions.
