Sala photoMaria Sala (maria.sala@ucd.ie)

Maria Sala graduated in 2000 with a degree in Biology from University of Barcelona. She worked as a Research Assistant in the Marine Institute in Barcelona and in UCD previous to starting her Ph.D. in UCD in 2005. Her research was supervised by Dr Stefano Mariani and consisted of depicting spatial variation in the genetics, ecology, and life history of a marine species interaction. Currently she is a Research Assistant at the Palaebotany Research group where she is responsible for supporting all aspects of the research team.
