University Management Team - Groups - UMT Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment Group
The UMT Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment Group will oversee the activity and performance of the Marketing, Branding and Student Recruitment functions at UCD as carried out centrally, in Colleges and Institutes and in other major functional areas.
Terms of Reference
- To oversee, advise upon and endorse marketing, branding and student recruitment strategies and programmes initiated by units within the university and carried out centrally, in Colleges, Schools and Institutes, and in other major functional areas.
- To ensure the UCD institutional brand is leveraged across all external communications.
- To foster synergies between all parties active in marketing, branding and student recruitment, and to monitor the effectiveness of the forum in which College/School level competencies in these areas are developed and promulgated.
- To act as the university management escalation point for communications issues.
- To oversee the University marketing and recruitment strategy, aligned with the University strategic plan.
- To prepare an annual report on Marketing, Branding and Student Recruitment activity for presentation to UMT Plenary.
