Elec&Comp Engineering Stream - Engineering Science (4-stage) (NES4)

Engineering Science Stage 4 Electronic and Computer Engineering Stream is a 60 Credit undergraduate Year of study. Following successful completion of Stage 4, students will progress into Year 2 of their Master of Engineering (ME) Programme, and modules from Stage 4 will be mapped forward in place of Year 1 of the ME. The normal workload is 30 credits per semester or 60 credits per Year. If you have been on Study Abroad for Stage 3, you may need to consult the Programme Coordinator about prerequisites or other special requirements.

Stage 4

Stage 4 of the BSc (Engineering Science) programme is optional, intended for students who want to progress to an ME degree programme. If you earn 60 credits in the Electronic and Computer Engineering stream, you can progress into Stage 2 of the Master of Engineering (ME) Programme in Electronic and Computer Engineering. The modules from Stage 4 will be mapped into the ME in place of Stage 1 of the ME, so you need to choose modules carefully - see the guidance document. If you have been on exchange for all or part of Stage 3, you may need to consult the Programme Director about prerequisites or other special requirements.
