Undergraduate student research project contributes to debate on cyberbullying
Research conducted by recent graduate Moya Farrell during her BA degree in psychology has formed part of the ongoing discussion about cyberbullying in Irish schools.Moya's research, conducted under the supervision of Dr Suzanne Guerin, involved interviewing 16-17 year olds to explore their views on the issue, with a particular interest in the way in which cyberbullying occurs between friends. Moya's work has been reported in the Irish Times (available here) and the Irish Examiner (available here), and is due to the presented at the Annual Conference of the Psychological Society of Ireland, which takes place from 8-11 November in Douglas Cork (Information on the conference is available here).
