Publication of Chinese translation of UCD Positive Psychology textbook
The field of positive psychology involves the scientific study of the role of personal strengths and positive social systems in the promotion of optimal well-being. It is also concerned with the application of these scientific findings in clinical practice. Factors that promote resilience in the face of adversity, psychosocial resources that facilitate positive emotions, and factors that promote psychological renewal over the course of the lifecycle are central to positive psychology. Happiness, hope, flow, creativity, giftedness, wisdom, optimism are all addressed in Professor Carr’s book.
