Previous D Psych Sc Graduations
Graduation 2009
On December 7th 2009, nine candidates were awarded the D Psych Sc in Clinical Psychology. This year Dr Rebecca Martin was awarded a distinction and Dr Maeve Mangoang was awarded both a distinction and the Therese Brady Medal. All of the graduates of the programme have been appointed to clinical psychology posts within the Irish health service. The D Psych Sc is run by UCD in partnership with the HSE, and attracts funding of over €1m for each cohort of 9 - 11 postgraduates over a three year cycle. In all 67 candidates have graduated from the D Psych Sc programme since the first graduation in 2000.
Graduation 2007
The students were awarded Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology, qualifying them to take up positions as clinical psychologists with their sponsoring agencies in the HSE and St. John of God Services. The conferring took place in the O'Reilly Hall on Monday 10th December 2007.

Prof. Brigid Laffan presented the Therese Brady Medal to Dr. Karen Lockhart (left). Karen also received a token for obtaining a distinction in her degree, as did her classmate Dr. Leonie Keogh (right).

Directly after the conferring a reception was held in Room B104 in the Newman Building at which the Therese Brady Medal was presented to Dr. Jennifer Hayes. This medal is awarded when excellence in clinical sensitivity is displayed thoughout the students's research thesis.
Jen and Al, is of Jennifer Hayes (recipient of the Therese Brad Medal along with Alberto Campal (awarded a distinction, for his thesis).
