Quality Enhancement is an important aspect of the QA/QI process at UCD. Units are required, following publication of the Review Group Report to set up an Implementation Committee and to prepare a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). This plan must reflect recommendations in the SAR and Review Group Report as well as College or Senior Management Strategic Planning. QIPs should be submitted for consideration no longer than 12 weeks following the Review Group Report.

Neither the University, nor it's constituent units are organisationally static. Consequently, QIPs are dynamic documents. Proposed planned actions in QIPs will, therefore, be kept under periodic review and may be revised to reflect changing organisational and resource factors.
